Jay B. R. Wokky Ch 34.4 — The Truth Revealed

Ch. 34.4 — When Matthew awoke, he hurt all over. He was heavy and bloated, as if he’d gained two hundred pounds. Normally his eyesight was excellent, but now everything was blurry. He burped and then worked his tongue over his teeth.
Strange. His teeth seemed to have grown in his sleep. In fact some of his teeth had grown to an alarming length. He grunted in surprise. He tried to get to his feet and fell over.
It was then that he noticed that he wasn’t wearing any clothes. He let out a squeal. Matthew stared in horror at what used to be his arms and hands. Instead, he had short legs that ended in divided hooves. Trotters. His skin was thick and brown with coarse bristles.
“What’s going on here?” he shouted. At least, that’s what he thought he said. A frightful squeal came out of his mouth.
He looked around the cave. Cold morning light came in the cave mouth. The horses were gone. All that was left of the fire was blackened chips of wood. The dishes had disappeared. The three pigs on the other side of the fire pit cringed and backed slowly away, squealing.
Matthew looked down at himself. He looked at the pigs. Growing dread filled him. No, this was a nightmare. He was going to wake up. He had to wake up. His heart pounded. But his nose told him what he’d been trying to deny since he woke up: Matthew, Mark, Percival, and Gordon had been turned into pigs.
Matthew was filled with terror. “No, no, no,” he squealed. He stumbled on all fours out of the cave and was blinded by the morning light. He blinked his eyes, then lifted his nose and sniffed the air.
The beautiful woman with her lily scent was gone.
Panic filled him, and Matthew began to run.
