Book Review: Miss Burton Unmasks a Prince, by Jennifer Moore
Meg Burton is sent from Charleston, South Carolina, to London with orders to find the richest man possible and marry him, in order to save her family from financial ruin. In spite of being unprepared for the dazzling, shallow world of upper class Regency London, she catches the eye of the odious Lord Featherstone, who is determined to woo and win her. Meg despairs of her situation, but then she makes friends with Carlo, the stable hand. Carlo is really Rodrigo de Talavera, a Spanish prince in hiding, and he is determined to help her and win her heart for himself.
This was a fun, clean romance. No real surprises, but I enjoyed the characters and the story.
