After years of traveling the world for her successful job in the fashion industry, Elizabeth Embry is tired and empty. She has been running from her past a long time. She accepts her friend’s offer to stay two weeks in Jackson Hole, Wyoming to see if being a partner in her friend’s boutique would make sense. While there, she meets the handsome Ryan Brennan, who runs the beautiful bed and breakfast where she is staying. Ryan has worked hard to build walls that hide his own painful past, but from the very first Ryan and Elizabeth are drawn to each other. As circumstances and a match-making friend keep putting them together, Elizabeth and Ryan must learn to trust each other and explore the chance for love that they have been given.
I loved this book so much I read it twice in a row. The story was well-written. The characters had strengths and flaws, and struggled to find meaning, faith, and hope in their lives. The ending was very satisfying. I also enjoyed the setting, which brought back memories of the beautiful Jackson area. If you’re looking for a clean romance with an uplifting theme, this is the book for you. I look forward to reading other books by Krista Lynne Jensen.
