Every January I sit down at my desk and write over three pages of goals for the year.  I usually only accomplish a few of them.  Maybe I should set fewer goals and focus on getting them done.  Here are my goals for this year:

1. Lose weight.

2. Become physically fit.

3. Publish my next book.

4. Train my new puppy properly.

5.  Finish the quilt.

6. Do genealogy.

7. Have the Christmas presents for 2014 all ready by November.

8. Memorize a song.

9. Do a kind deed every day.

10.  Write in my journal daily.

Well, that’s the list.  The accomplishment of these goals will take some work and effort, but it will be worth it.  What are your goals for the new year?
