When you’re sick, you feel so terrible you wonder if you’ll ever feel better again. You wonder if you’ll ever care that the sun is shining and you’re not out there enjoying it, or that the dishes are piling up in the sink, the laundry is overflowing, books are going unread, your family is avoiding you like you have the plague, or that your own book is languishing away, crying in the dark recesses of your computer because you haven’t given it any attention lately. But then, the antibiotics starts working and you start to gradually feel better. And then one day you wake up and feel… Happy! Wow, is this what healthy feels like? It’s so beautiful outside. I love everybody again. It’s time to work in the garden! It’s time to write! I’m back! Yeah!
